After his retirement, the painting was moved to another location at 240 Queen St. In a memorandum dated 17/9/1995 to Freda Blanchard, Institute Librarian, Nancy de Freitas wrote " Blue Evening Curtain is an important painting in the development of my work over the past decade and I would be pleased to see it have a permanent home in the library". Later, on 13/10/95, the painting was transferred to the Library. | ||
