HUMN/1002. Chronological order.

The role of the Human Resources Standing Committee is to develop, review and monitor staffing and personnel policy and monitor procedures which will allow the Institute. a) to follow legal obilgations and its Charter relating to equity, staff rights and responsiblities, equal employment opportunities and the Treaty of Waitangi. b) to ensure appropriate staff development opportunities are available and to give attention to staff and student welfare. c) to manage in-house negiotiations on industrial relations and discipline. d) to plan effectively for staff deployment including staff appointments and grading. The Committee consists of: The Director of Human Resources (acting as Chair); the Academic Director; TIASA and ASTE representives; Faculty representives; Komiti Maori representive; representives from the centres outside of the Faculties (e.g. Library and Registries) = Human Resources Standing Committee minutes and agenda
