Australian and New Zealand standard method of measurement of building works / Australian and New Zealand standard method of measurement of building works 2022 edition. authorised by agreement between The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (Ltd), New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (Inc) and Master Builders Australia Limited, Registered Master Builders Association of NZ Inc. - 2022 edition. "The ASMM has been used as the method of measurement of building works in Australia since the first edition was published in 1959... The standard method of measurement used in New Zealand since 1985 was NZ Standard 4202. A cross-industry committee representing the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Registered Master Builders Association NZ, Specialist Trade Contractors Federation, New Zealand Institute of Building, along with major professional quantity surveying and contractor firms, concluded that it was not feasible to update NZS4202. Their recommendation, supported by all organisations involved was to adopt a revised ASMM as a joint Australian and New Zealand standard method of measurement. This new joint trans-Tasman standard (Australian and New Zealand Standard Method of Measurement of Building Works) was introduced in 2018... This 2022 edition of the ANZSMM incorporates new material on Fire Protection, Signage, and Pest Control. In addition clarification have been inserted to address the measurements of items specific to New Zealand, where these differ from Australian Measurement rules."--Preface.
