It is the story of the community that was purposefully nurtured through the Māori and Indigenous Graduate Enhancement programme (MAI) and the International Indigenous Writing retreats organised by Ngā Pae o Te Māramatanga, Aotearoa New Zealand's Māori Centre of Research Excellence.
