A 6 p. booklet describing Sir Reginal Savory's contribution to the Institute and Auckland, and outlining the nature of the appeal a purpose built library which was intended for the Wellesley Campus. It includes an artist's impressions of what the interior of the proposed library would look like.
A form to be returned to the secretary of the appeal with a donation is inserted at the back of the booklet.
The proposed library was never built, although the present Wellesley Campus Library in the refurbished A Block is offically called the Sir Reginald Savory Library.
