This volume contains a collection of papers written by those present at Push for Peace, the inaugural Annual Armistice Symposium held at the Auckland War Memorial Museum on 12 November 2004 to commemorate the 1918 Armistice. The Symposium provided a venue for discussion of the complex issues involved in defence, conflict resolution and conflict prevention.
