- Information found: Title page (Sachie Nomura) Introduction (I'm typing the introduction to my first ever book, a collection of some of the recipes from my culture, my award-winning cooking school, Sachie's Kitchen, and my TV show of the same name. I was born and grew up in Hekinan city, in Japan's Aichi prefecture. When I was 17, I came to study English in New Zealand, then majored in Chinese and Linguistics at Auckland University. In late 2009, I turned my vision for Sachie's Kitchen, the largest and most awarded Asian cooking school in Australasia. We now offer more than just Japanese- Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Malaysian and Chinese classes, a full spectrum of Asian food expression. I don't like to call myself a chef.)
