For seven years he was head of ecomasterplanning at Llewelyn Davies Yeang (London) responsible for several of its UK and international projects. He is the author of over thirty-four instructive books, mainly on South and Southeast Asian architecture. He was formerly Associate Professor of Architecture at the National University of Singapore (1990-2001) and Editor of the Singapore Institute of Architects journal (1997-1999). He is the Professor of Architecture at Taylors University (Malaysia). He has authored two books on the work of Ken Yeang.)
