- Information found: (in obituary dated Jan. 2, 2018: Bruce Brooks Pfeiffer, who organized Frank Lloyd Wright's massive archives and wrote or edited more than 50 books about the buildings, ideas and career of the legendary architect, died Sunday [Dec. 31, 2017] in Scottsdale, Ariz., according to the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation; Pfeiffer was 87; as the foundation's director of archives, Pfeiffer was in charge of bringing order to this sprawling trove; born in 1930 in South Natick, Mass.,Pfeiffer began studying as an apprentice under Wright in 1949; in the 1950s he attended an arts school in Paris, then returned to Wright's fold; became director of the foundation's archives in 1959 and later served as a vice president and trustee of the group)
