Dear Reader website, Sept. 2, 2021 (Lynnsay Rongokea, a New Zealand-born Cook Islander, is of Ngati Maoate and Ngati Te Akareva descent. She is known in the Pacific region for her work with Pacific arts and music festivals, and as a human rights educator. She was the Cook Islands 'Woman of the Year' in 2000 in the category of International Affairs. Lynnsay lives on Rarotonga.)
