Te Mātāpuna Library & Learning Services Special Collections

Our Special Collections hold records and archival materials from AUT. These materials relate to various aspects of AUT's history and business functions, including records from Auckland Technical Institute (ATI) and Auckland Institute of Technology (AIT). 

How to use this collection

This catalogue is public access and can be searched by anyone. You do not need a login to search, simply search by typing in the above search box.
The collection is held in a closed facility. To request access to items, we recommend creating an account and placing a request. Materials include photographs, reports, pamphlets, brochures, newsletters, meeting documents and many other primary source materials. 

Requesting items from the Special Collections

To request items, we recommend that you create an account. This account is specific to the Special Collections, you cannot use your normal AUT login for the Special Collections. You do not need to be a current AUT student or staff member to register. Once registered, items can be requested by using the Place Reserve button. We will process your requests and let you know when the material is available to view.

Please note that all Special Collections materials are for in-library use only.
